René Claude Roy est un designer d’intérieur professionnel avec plus de 34 années d’expérience en Design d’intérieur commercial, institutionnel et résidentiel.
En début de carrière, il a travaillé comme designer d’intérieur plusieurs années dans la région d’Ottawa, pour finalement s’installer au Nouveau-Brunswick.
Il a été à la tête de Interior Design d’intérieur Plus Consultants dans la région de Moncton pour plus de 20 ans, copropriétaire de la Boutique de meubles et accessoires Era Urbano ainsi que cofondateur de la firme d’architecture Design Plus Architecture.
Il est présentement enseignant titulaire au programme de Design d’intérieur au Collège Communautaire du N.-B. campus de Dieppe depuis 2009. Il fit partie de l’équipe, qui à mener le programme vers la certification CIDA (Council for Interior Design Accreditation) en 2018.
Il est membre actif de l’association des Designers du NB depuis 1992. Ou Il a occupé plusieurs postes au sein de l’exécutif et en siégeant sur plusieurs comités. Il est encore aujourd’hui très impliqué à l’avancement de la profession de Design d’Intérieur au NB et au niveau Canadian.
Présidente des Designers d'intérieur du Nouveau-Brunswick de 2010 à 2019, Rachel Mitton fait partie de l'évolution de la profession de designer d'intérieur au Nouveau-Brunswick depuis 23 ans. Elle a également participé à de nombreux comités avec des collègues de partout au Canada. Elle est présentement Chef du département des programmes de métiers et de design d'intérieur au campus du CCNB à Dieppe, après avoir été enseignante au programme de Design d'intérieur pendant un certain nombre d'années. Elle a été activement impliquée dans le processus d'agrément de CIDA du programme de design d'intérieur. Elle a également joué un rôle clé à l'obtention par les DINB de la Loi sur la pratique le 5 mai 2017, le changement le plus important de l'histoire de l'association.
Tout au long de sa carrière, elle a consacré son temps au bénévolat au sein de l'association provinciale, à la gestion de son département, à l'enseignement dans le Baccalauréat appliqué de Design d'intérieur et la pratique du design. Elle s'est toujours engagée à améliorer la profession, son dévouement envers ses étudiants et ses clients ont fait d'elle un membre apprécié et respecté de la profession.
As principal of LVT Design, Lyn is an Interior Designer who has elevated the design of over 2 million SQFT of innovative corporate, industrial and hospitality space. As the only Interior Designer in Saint John until 2018 she was presented many opportunities to work on exciting projects with wonderful clients through out the Maritimes and beyond.
Lyn has been in the design industry since 1984 in Toronto where she gained her degree from Ryerson. With in 3 years of graduation she became the senior designer in her Ontario firm and since then has managed and lead national and international projects
For several years Lyn has sat on the executive board for Interior Designers of New Brunswick (IDNB) and is currently Vice President. She has also spent 3 years on the national advocacy board for Interior Designers of Canada (IDC) She has volunteered countless hours for the profession of Interior Design included sitting on the Practice and Protection act Committee which was instrumental in obtaining the IDNB “Practice and Protection “Act.
Isabelle Roy is a professional Interior Designer with 17 years of experience, specializing in workplace planning and design.
She obtained her Interior Design Diploma from La Cite Collégiale in 2005, and subsequently worked for several reputable architectural and interior design firms in both Moncton and Ottawa. In 2009, she joined the federal public service as an Interior Designer for the House of Commons.
Now, as Senior Interior Designer for Public Services and Procurement Canada (Atlantic Region), Isabelle leads a team of designers that manage and coordinate interior design services of fit-up projects for all federal government departments in the Atlantic Region.
Isabelle has been the Registrar for the Interior Design Association of New Brunswick (IDNB) since 2019. Her main responsibilities are to maintain the register of all members, audit continuing education requirements, and ensure that members carry professional liability insurance.
Isabelle is a LEED Green Associate, and has been an NCIDQ certified Interior Designer since 2009.
Nicole Cormier is an Intern Interior Designer with over 14 years of experience in commercial and residential design.
She began her career in 2009 working at Architecture 2000 in Moncton, NB and in 2014 she ventured into her own design practice.
Nicole has been an active intern member of IDNB since 2010 where she served and chaired on many committees in the last decade. She is also an active Intern member of Interior Designers of Canada (IDC) and had served on their board of Directors from 2012- 2014 as the Intern Director.
Her passion for design and the advancement of the interior design profession does not go unnoticed. Whatever she immersed herself in, she invested fully and passionately.
Jennifer Greene was drawn to the interior design profession because of her awareness of the power of space. As an innately keen observer, sensitive and empathetic in nature, she defines success by the degree to which her practice creates experiences that enhances peoples’ lives.
During her 15 year career, now a Partner at TOSS in Saint John, she has had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients across multiple commercial sectors spanning Atlantic Canada, and is proud to call New Brunswick home.
Jennifer has been a member of IDNB for over a decade and has served on multiple committees. A believer in the interior design profession, she joined a newly-formed IDC Advocacy Committee in 2018 and has been on IDC’s Board of Directors since 2019. She is proud to be representing interior designers and the importance of our profession both here in New Brunswick and across Canada.
